New Year, New Book!Posted by on January 11, 2016
After months and months of work, we’re happy announce that today is release day for The End of the Mountains! The End of the Mountains by Casey Clabough is the first nonfiction book from Little Curlew Press.
Consistent with the book’s theme of a vanishing way of life and world of red wolves and chestnut trees, a portion of the proceeds of all sales of The End of the Mountains will go to The American Chestnut Foundation. This group is dedicated to the restoration of the American Chestnut through scientific breeding and cooperative research. The nonprofit’s mission is to “work to restore the American chestnut tree to our eastern woodlands to benefit our environment, our wildlife, and our society. ” Not only does this coincide with a central theme in The End of the Mountains, but it also aligns with Little Curlew Press’s mission to encourage conversation and solutions to environmental issues.
We want to thank designer James Knake and all of our editors,…and of course Casey for writing such a great book!
